Designing, building and refurbishing defence infrastructure requires a specialised skillset, that we’ve honed through years of delivering projects for the Defence Estate, in the UK and overseas.
Providing a complete solution for military airfields and campuses, we maintain, enhance and renew much of the UK’s critical defence infrastructure for the British Army, Royal Air Force and US Air Force.
We are well resourced to tackle the most demanding large-scale projects as well as minor refurbishments, including surfacing and concrete rehabilitation works. Using our own batching plants and pavers to lay PQC, we can work within tight timeframes and minimise lead times.
Our history of working at military and civilian airports dates back almost 80 years, when we began constructing wartime airfields. Our portfolio of work includes frameworks at Gatwick and Stansted Airports, and runway improvements and infrastructure upgrades at RAF Lakenheath, RAF Mildenhall, RAF Fairford and RAF Lossiemouth.
Our diverse defence portfolio now includes BREEAM rated high-tech facilities incorporating laboratories, auditoriums and telecommunication hubs.
