We’re thrilled to announce that volkerFitzpatrick as part of VolkerWessels UK has been named one of the Top 100 Apprenticeship Employers in the UK for 2025 by RateMyApprenticeship, a review platform where apprentices can leave honest feedback about their experience.
In 2024, VolkerFitzpatrick welcomed over 150 young trainees, our largest ever intake, covering a wide range of disciplines from engineering and surveying to Preconstruction and HR— helping to shape the future of our industry and invest in the next generation of talent.
At VolkerFitzpatrick, we are proud to provide a wide range of opportunities for young people to learn and develop skills in the construction and civil engineering industry. By prioritising education and employability, we not only make a positive impact on local communities but also leave a lasting legacy well beyond the completion of our projects. We offer skilled mentors to help young adults along the way and a range of additional training and mentoring to broaden their personal development.
We (as part of VolkerWessels UK) are also proud to have been awarded Gold accredited membership as part of The 5% Club. This accolade ensures that a minimum of 5% of our workforce comprises early careers on formal training schemes. This highlights our commitment to empowering our employees through “earn & learn” initiatives such as Apprenticeships, Graduate programmes, and Work Placements.
An apprenticeship allows me to learn whilst gaining invaluable skills through site experience. VolkerFitzpatrick has been very supportive throughout when helping to further expand my knowledge.
