VolkerFitzpatrick and VolkerStevin appointed to Anglian Water's £1.5bn Major Projects Framework
VolkerFitzpatrick and VolkerStevin have been appointed by Anglian Water to one of two contracts within its new Major Projects Framework, which will support the delivery of up to £1.5 billion of investment in critical water and environmental infrastructure across the East of England.
Supporting Anglian Water's £11bn AMP8 investment programme
The framework is a key part of Anglian Water's wider £11 billion AMP8 investment programme and is designed to accelerate investment in major infrastructure projects that improve water quality, enhance environmental resilience and support sustainable growth across the region.
By working together, VolkerFitzpatrick and VolkerStevin will bring a comprehensive range of capabilities spanning civil engineering, infrastructure delivery and mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control and automation (MEICA) expertise. The integrated approach will support the successful delivery of complex water infrastructure projects across Anglian Water's operating area.
Initial schemes are expected to include Anglian Water's coastal water improvement programme, valued at more than £400 million, which aims to reduce storm overflows and improve water quality at coastal locations throughout the East of England.
