Meridian Water Station
VolkerFitzpatrick design and constructed Network Rail’s Meridian Water Station as part of the £170m Lee Valley Rail Programme.
The station is part of London’s major ‘Meridian Water’ regeneration programme and was built to accommodate up to 4 million passengers, over the next 20 years. Meridian Water Station has a sleek, modern design, three platforms, lift access, a footbridge and a retail space.
Construction began in November 2017 and the station was expected to be completed in 2019. The station replaced the Angel Road station in Edmonton, London.
