'I work as a site engineer on the project harrier site in Daventry, Northamptonshire'

What inspired you to apply for the Overseas Development Challenge?

‘I did a world challenge expedition when I left school. Meeting new people, experiencing new cultures, camping and being outdoors is right up my street and greatly appealed to me’

What skills will you bring to the expedition?

‘I am a good communicator and happy to talk to anyone on any level in society or a business. I am also happy to get stuck in with whatever challenges the group will face and won’t be sitting back when a job needs to be done.’

What are you most and least looking forward to?

‘The thing I’m looking forward to the most is just getting out there and getting amongst it, meeting my team and colleagues and getting stuck into the project phase and the challenges that lay ahead.

I am least looking forward to not being able to have a roast at my mums at the weekends, although the food will probably be quite nice, there is nothing like your mums cooking is there?’
