Leading engineering and construction specialist VolkerFitzpatrick is inviting those with an interest in construction to a free, ‘behind the scenes’ look at the Essoldo House site on King’s Road, London. The site will be operating tours on 22 and 23 March 2018, as part of Build UK’s ‘Open Doors’ event.

The event is free to attend and visitors who book a place will hear what it is like to work on a construction site and learn about the different careers involved in a project such as this. They will also get an inside look at the works currently happening on-site and plans for constructing the new mixed-use development.

After an induction and safety briefing, visitors will head out on a tour of the site. They will then have the opportunity to ask questions and learn what it is like to work in the construction industry.

Luke Hirst, project manager for VolkerFitzpatrick’s building division said: “The construction industry offers a huge variety of roles and opportunities for career and personal growth. The people working on developments like Essoldo House get to proudly say ‘I helped build that’. Open Doors is a great chance to learn about the people and professions behind a project like this.”

Please note that booking is essential for this event and visitors will not be admitted without pre-booking a place. Places are filling up fast, so visitors should book now to avoid disappointment. For more information and to book, visit: http://opendoors.construction/site/131
