Richard joined VolkerFitzpatrick in March 1990, progressing steadily through the ranks from an engineer to his current position as managing director. Richard is a chartered engineer with over 25 years of experience in the civil engineering industry.
Jonathan joined in 1997 as a quantity surveyor and has progressed through the business to his current position as commercial director. With 20 years' experience in the construction industry, Jonathan is a qualified chartered surveyor, and previously worked for the civils and building divisions of Taylor Woodrow.
Ceri joined VolkerFitzpatrick in 2013 having previously been the VolkerWessels UK financial controller since 2009. Ceri is a chartered accountant having qualified with Ernst & Young in 1998 and has worked previously in management consultancy and in the construction and utilities sectors. Prior to working at VolkerWessels UK Ceri worked at Willmott Dixon and gained extensive project management and change management experience.
Managing Director - Civils
Chris joined VolkerFitzpatrick in 2013 as managing director for our rail division and moved to become managing director for the civil engineering division in May 2014. A chartered civil engineer with a diploma in business management, Chris has 30 years' experience working on design and construction projects including Blackfriars Station and bridge project as well as Crossrail's Liverpool Street and Whitechapel Station tunnelling project.
Managing Director - Rail
John joined VolkerFitzpatrick in 2014 as managing director of our rail division having previously been the VolkerRail projects director since 2012. John graduated as a civil engineer from Queen’s University, Belfast in 1987. Having previously worked for Laing O'Rourke for ten years, John, a chartered member of the Institution of Civil Engineers has a wealth of experience on a number of complex and multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects in rail, energy, utilities and airports.
Stuart joined VolkerFitzpatrick as managing director of our building division in early 2017, bringing with him 30 years of experience within the construction industry. Stuart started out as an indentured quantity surveying trainee and has worked his way up through two major contracting organisations to hold a number of senior leadership roles. Stuart has a proven track record in delivering customer satisfaction across the key industry sectors working to provide procurement and delivery solutions to fit with customer needs. His experience is varied including the refurbishment of listed buildings, high profile office schemes, new build education and technical space and the London 2012 Overlay programme.
