There will be a new access road and traffic management scheme. Site drainage including interceptors, pump chambers, soakaways and holding tanks, depot ballasted track involving OLE piling, OLE structures and bases, OLE bonding, drivers walkway and lighting, UTX's and duct routes, and troughing routes including miscellaneous bases. 

Structural concrete Civils - Foundations to the above ancillary buildings and main traincare shed including piling.

Building of the main traincare facility, trainwash, UFC building, west plant room, water storage pump building, oil, coolant and fuel systems plant rooms, stores building, 4 substation buildings, incoming services building, security building, admin building, east & west cleaners accommodation, water storage building, carriage wash plant room.

General Civil's - Installation of ducting, blacktopping east, west and entrance areas, concrete roads and slabs including car park, general earthworks to the above structures, landscaping, fencing, roadways and carparks and hardstandings.

Domestic M & E to the ancillary buildings and the main traincare building including the trainwash facility, CET, portable and tanking water, fuelling systems, external lighting, CCTV and main supply routes.

Slab Track - Laying of slab track in carriage wash building and laying of slab track in under frame building.

• Syphonic drainage change from underground gutters and down pipes to syphonic drainage giving a better maintainable product and preventing overcrowding of underground services.
• Ducting: change from brickwork to GRP duct boxes to reduce manual handling and speed of programme.
• Change from hinge able to off the shelf covers on drainage manholes.
• GRP pumping stations: change from insitu to precast GRP pumping station saving time and H&S risk
• Changing from stormblock soakaway / attenuation systems to Geo light system
