  • Design and build contract for a 430,000ft2 state-of-the-art industrial facility for manufacturing and servicing 75m long turbine blades
  • Two-storey office and welfare, plus external service yards, lay-down areas and car park
  • Steel frame superstructure sits on a substructure of 4,650 driven precast concrete piles, plus in-situ pile caps
  • Envelope combines precast concrete panels, with Eurobond composite cladding to roof level
  • Facility required bespoke M&E, including power, data, vacuum systems and compressed air
  • 40% of workforce local to the area
  • Project handed over in stages so the client could begin their fit out for production, ahead of schedule
