Celebrating success at the 2024 International Safety Awards
VolkerFitzpatrick is celebrating after receiving two International Safety Awards from the British Safety Council this year.
Now in their 67th year, the International Safety Awards recognise and celebrate organisations from around the world, which have demonstrated, to the satisfaction of the scheme’s independent judges, their commitment to preventing workplace injuries and work-related ill health during the previous calendar year.
This year, VolkerFitzpatrick achieved Distinctions for our work on Eastbrook Studios in London and our Camp Hill Lines rail project in Birmingham. Both awards reflect the business’ commitment to health, safety and wellbeing during 2023.

The International Safety Awards recognise an organisation’s commitment to excellent standards of health, safety and wellbeing management at a specific site or business unit.
In 2024, a total of 1251 applications were received for the International Safety Awards; with 90% of applicants successfully achieving a Distinction, Merit or Pass grade.
These winners include organisations of all sizes, types and sectors, and businesses in the UK, Africa, Asia, China, Europe, India, the Middle East, Turkey and the Republic of Ireland. The number of applications has more than doubled since the 2022 Awards, a reflection of the esteem in which these awards are held across the globe.
