Winslow station

WInslow

VolkerFitzpatrick has been contracted by East West Rail to build Winslow train station, which will be at the heart of the new railway, and when fully built, will transform travel between Oxford, Milton Keynes and Cambridge.

VolkerFitzpatrick will begin work on the new station building in the Spring of 2022, with the new track to be laid in early 2023.

VolkerFitzpatrick is building two stations for East West Rail, Winslow station and Bletchley station. This work is part of the first phase of the new railway, known as Connection Stage One between Oxford and Milton Keynes, is bringing 1,000 direct employment opportunities and a further 500 through our supply chain in addition to injecting £1.1bn into the local economy.

One complete, Winslow station will include two platforms, a link bridge, a state of the art ticket hall, and full step free access.
