VolkerFitzpatrick recently completed the construction of a nine storey contemporary workspace building in the creative quarter of Kings Cross, London.

  • High-quality fair faced concrete finish to all soffits, columns and sheer walls
  • Basement constructed with sheet and CFA piling
  • Combination of Schuco curtain walling with photovoltaics, waved panels, feature band and oak timber fins facade
  • Bespoke finishes in lift and toilet cores involving a mix of black steel, timber and silver metal panelling
  • Double height entrance space including a mezzanine, café and wall mounted artwork
  • Floor incorporates metal feature tracks as wayfinding directions for visitors
  • 3,230 ft2   roof space planted with wildflowers and grasses to support local wildlife
  • 200 solar panels to provide sustainable energy source.
