Northumberland Park

VolkerFitzpatrick is working to deliver essential upgrades at Northumberland Park station in Haringey, as part of the £170 million Lee Valley Rail Programme.

Once upgraded, Northumberland Park will benefit from a new platform served by the third track.

An accessible footbridge with ramps has also been constructed as well as a lift to serve the new island platform, which will be brought into service in January 2019.

New footbridge

In April 2018, a major milestone was achieved when sections of the station’s new footbridge were installed across the existing West Anglia Main Lines, using a 350 tonne crane. The new accessible footbridge at Northumberland Park station will provide access across the railway and to the new island platform, via new ramp structures.
