The team working on University Square Stratford was commended for their work within the local community, specifically on building a solid relationship with local neighbours and the recruitment of a local workforce.

The East Kent Access Phase Two project was also commended for its high levels of safety and responsibility as well as for consideration to the local environment and neighbourhood.

Richard Offord, managing director of VolkerFitzpatrick, said: "These awards are very important to VolkerFitzpatrick and we are delighted to be awarded three which shows just how much our teams invest in working with local communities."

The Considerate Constructors Scheme's National Site Awards are presented to construction sites, both large and small, that have raised the bar for considerate construction. The awards recognise sites' excellent standards of consideration towards their neighbours, their workforce and the environment.
