This month VolkerFitzpatrick is celebrating the 22 professionals from across the business who have received their Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) qualifications.
This is not only VolkerFitzpatrick’s largest group of recipients to date, it is also the first year that work managers and foremen have undergone professional training to achieve their Engineering Technician qualification, which is aimed directly at professionals who spend every day delivering and managing civil engineering projects.
Team members attended a ceremony on 8 February, where they received their ICE Engineering Technician certificates, Incorporated Engineer certificates and Chartered Engineer certificates.
Barbara Kemp, ICE training scheme manager for VolkerFitzpatrick, said: “2018 was a significant year for ICE professional qualifications and the works managers and foremen who underwent training have led the way for more of their colleagues to consider sitting their ICE Engineer Technician review in 2019.”
